Enrique Alejos, Four Seasons Cultural Concierge, takes the Tequila experience to a whole new level! (no wonder why this is one of their most popular activities). Enrique first guides you through the detailed process of how Tequila is made, teaching you how to identify, analyze and understand the characteristic flavors, aromas and colors of the spirit. Once the fundamentals of Tequila have been covered, then the fun part begins, creating your own Tequila blend. Enrique will give you a general advice about combinations, but it is up to you to choose the exact amounts from each of the five different barrels to find the exact formula that represents you.
You’ll unique blend will be placed in either a handmade “Damajuana“ bottle to take back home with you, or inside a beautiful “Talavera“ bottle delivered in a gorgeous wood box, making it a perfect gift for a special occasion. In both cases your blend is sealed, signed and registered in the Casa San Matías Tequila house books, and with that making your own blend “official“.
Certainly, this is a unique experience that allows you to both learn and enjoy one of the most emblematic ambassadors of Mexican culture and traditions.
