Time flies when you’re having fun, and without noticing, 2o years have passed since Punta Mita was born, and of course this has to be celebrated!
Over these 20 years, Punta Mita has witnessed more than 7,300 amazing sunrises and breathtaking sunsets and thousands of delightful moments, it has helped creating countless memories and allowed so many people to “live the dream“, whether if it is enjoying of a sweet vacation time, or experiencing the marvels of being able to call this paradise home.
And to celebrate all those precious reminiscences and to share Punta Mita‘s milestones and achievements of the past two decades, a wonderful program has been created with a series of special events to take place during the month of December 2019 to commemorate such an important occasion.
The celebration program includes a Gala at Kupuri Beach Club on December 6th with the participation of Chefs from the Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita, The St Regis Punta Mita, Sufi Restaurant & the Punta Mita Beach Clubs Culinary Team, all working together to create an outstanding menu for such a special night.
During this Gala, the Punta Mita 20th Anniversary Collection, by Mexican designers Lydia Lavin, Raquel Orozco & Vanessa Guckel will be presented, a unique and limited edition collection inspired by the beauty of Punta Mita, while Photographer Cynthia Serur de Araf will exhibit her Punta Mita Photography Collection. All proceeds from this evening will go towards local charities Peace Punta de Mita & Fundacion Punta de Mita.
As you can imagine, Golf is a must element to be included on the celebration. The 20th Anniversary Cup, honoring the 2 world class golf courses that have helped positioning Punta Mita as one of the top golf resort around the glove, will be held on December 7th with two different options: Individual Stableford for the more competitive players and Scramble for those who would like to enjoy of a more relaxed format. Both options will be held over 18 holes, followed by a luncheon and award ceremony on the driving range.
On Sunday, December the 8th, a very special edition of the Flavors of Punta Mita will take place at The Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita, featuring the creations of the favorite restaurants and Chefs of Punta Mita and Punta de Mita. During this event, the 20th Anniversary Limited edition Collection by Mexican designers Lydia Lavin, Raquel Orozco & Vanessa Guckel will be presented again, as well as the Punta Mita Photography Collection by Photographer Cynthia Serur de Araf, and once again, all proceeds from this evening will go towards local charities Peace Punta de Mita & Fundacion Punta de Mita.
Adding to the 20th Anniversary celebration, the Punta Mita Golf Club’s Driving Range has been re-designed to provide the ultimate practice facility experience. With the Punta Mita Golf Academy Complex, it takes the golf experience to the next level! A brand new Punta Mita Dive Center will provide both diving expeditions and scuba certification programs, with PADI-certified expert divers to offer a memorable and safe scuba diving experience. A new beach club “El Surf Club Punta Mita” will open soon on the best surfing beach in the area, bring the total to five beach clubs!
To commemorate such an important event, The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort that recently celebrated its 10th Anniversary with a resort-wide refresh, while the Four Seasons Punta Mita Resort will unveil new guest rooms, and we are sure that both resorts will surprise us with outstanding new looks.
And celebration doesn’t end here, we know from reliable sources that they are working on more surprises that include the launch of a beautiful Punta Mita Cooking Book, an amazing Punta Mita Coffee Table Book, a customize board game and specially production of Tequila and Mezcal with the Punta Mita brand, among many other!
